How we earn

When a pair is bought through a link on this site, IUV earns a commission. Here is exactly how that works and what it does not change.

The arrangement

Every buy button opens the listing for that size at our retail partner. If a purchase follows, they pay us a commission for having sent you. That is how the catalogue, the photography and the sizing work on this site are paid for.

What it costs you

Nothing. The commission comes out of the retailer margin, and you pay what the listing says whether you arrived from here or typed the name in yourself.

What it does not buy

  • A place in the catalogue. Every pair we cut and that the retailer stocks is here.
  • A better position. Lists are ordered by how much a pair has been bought and rated, or by the measurement you asked about, not by what pays.
  • A softer chart. The bench will tell you a foot is longer than our longest last rather than round you down into a sale.
  • Silence about the men's lasts. They do not share a grid and we say so on every page where it matters.

Where the disclosure appears

On the buttons themselves, so it is attached to the moment it applies rather than buried on a page nobody opens.
