We built this mid calf boot on a wide square-toe last in a deep red-brown faux leather. The shaft sits calf high with dual-color embroidery and reinforced side tabs. A low block heel and rubber outsole keep the profile grounded and steady.

On the bench

Wide square toe profile

The broad square toe leaves room across the ball of the foot and keeps the front profile trim. It gives the red-brown synthetic upper a classic western line that holds its shape through regular wear.

Calf-high shaft and fit

The mid calf shaft measures 16 inches in circumference on our size 9.5, with other sizes graded accordingly. Twin pull loops sit at the collar so you can pull the boot on directly.

Two-tone thread pattern

We stitched the shaft panels with embroidery thread in two distinct shades. The pattern runs up both sides of the faux leather leg, framing the side seams without stiffening the shaft material.

Low heel and rubber sole

A flat rubber outsole is paired with a low walking heel for solid footing. Inside, a soft lining and cushioned insole cover the footbed from heel to toe.
