On the bench
Stitched patterns in two contrasting thread colours run up the front and back of the shaft. The embroidery holds its shape against the dark base leather as the shaft softens and folds with regular wear.
We built this pair on our square-toe last to give your toes space to spread naturally. The welt stitching frames the forefoot clearly, creating a clean line along the outer edge of the sole.
The shaft rises partway up the lower leg, leaving ample clearance below the knee. Twin side pull tabs help you seat your heel down into the counter without crushing the backstay.
A flat rubber outsole grips the ground under the ball of the foot. Paired with a wide block heel, it provides a stable base on hard floors, dirt, and gravel paths.
