We built this ankle boot on a broad square toe last, using black faux leather with western stitching across the vamp. Elastic side gores take the place of a tall shaft, letting the collar open easily when you pull them on. The low heel sits flat under the heel cup for a steady stride.
On the bench
The square profile gives your toes room to spread without crowding the sides. We reinforced the toe cap to hold its shape over months of regular wear, while tonal stitch patterns decorate the upper.
